Local retail facilities include Heaton Retail Park which contains a number of stores including a large Sainsbury's supermarket and Currys. In addition to this the retail centre of Higher Blackley that includes supermarkets, banks and local restaurants.

Just a few miles to the south is Manchester Fort Retail Park boasting leading high street stores such as B&Q, Boots, Comet, Next, Borders and Argos as well as a number of restaurants.
